The goal of the Specific Aims Page Consultation Service is to provide individualized feedback on draft specific aims pages to applicants currently applying for NIH K grants.
Eligibility
To be considered for this service, applicants must:
- be from a Harvard-affiliated institution.
- be planning to submit a NIH K grant application.
- have least 1 month between their consultation and their submission deadline (applicants with fewer than one month between their consultation cohort month and their deadline will not be considered).
- have a fully-written draft of their specific aims page ready to submit.
Preparation Before Submitting
We strongly recommend that draft Specific Aims pages are reviewed by a mentor before submitting. Applicants must also review the recommendations laid out on the
Grant Writing Tips resource on the Harvard Catalyst Writing and Communication Center website. In particular, their draft specific aims page should follow the guidance on the following pages:
A limited number of consultations will be offered each month. The service is free for Harvard-affiliated
schools and
institutions. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Eligible applications will be selected in the order that they are received. Applicants will be informed of the status of their application within 2 weeks of applying.
Data Policy
